FAQ’s

Do we accept bookings or functions?
Yes, we do! Unfortunately, we generally cannot take bookings for our busiest periods (after 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays, but are open to bookings outside this time. If you have a larger function that requires exclusive use of the space, it’s best to plan this out of hours.

Can we bring children?
Absolutely, you just need to actively supervise them! No children running around on their own, please.

Do we serve food?
We serve light snacks (see menu)— dolmades, olives, chips, antipasti. Pizzas can be ordered to the venue from Thin Slizzy down the road, after 5pm!

Are dogs allowed at Runner Up?
Yes please! Just keep them on their lead so that they do not disrupt other punters.

Is the rooftop covered?
Not yet, but soon we hope.

Do we have space indoors?
There are lots of seats indoors! Don’t fret if it’s raining, it’s still a great cosy place for a winter drink.

Do we have heaters/air con?
Both! We keep it cool in summer and warm in winter.

What nights of the week do we have DJs?
Thursday – Sunday
